Background Information:
High quality RNA (250 ng) prepared from individual BioMAP systems, provided to clients for their own downstream gene expression experiments. The LPS system is comprised of venular endothelial cells and peripheral blood mononuclear cells. It models acute and chronic inflammation and monocyte activation responses. The LPS system is relevant to chronic inflammatory conditions where monocytes play a key role including atherosclerosis, restenosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and metabolic diseases.
