Background Information:
Client test articles are used on human PBMCs to monitor secretion of inflammatory agents and reported as pg/mL for the strength of the response. T-cell inducer of choice (ConA, Anti-CD3 antibody, PHA or CD40L/IFNγ) is used as positive control for comparison purposes, while non-treated cells serve as background control. The number of PBMC donors in this study is customizable and can be tested as either individual or pooled donors. PBMCs from other species (NHP, rat, mouse, canine) with choice of stimulants are available upon client request.
