Biological Information
Background Information:
LPS (E.coli O111:B4) is used to stimulate secretion of inflammatory agents IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8, MIP-1α, TNFα and inhibition by client compound is reported as pg/mL for the strength of the response. Reference compound dexamethasone is used for comparison purposes. Non-treated cells serve as background control, while LPS stimulated PBMCs in the presence of vehicle serve as a positive control. Human PBMCs are from a single donor in this assay.
