Background Information:
Client test articles are used on human PBMCs to monitor secretion of IFNα and reported as pg/mL for the strength of the response. CpG DNA (ODN 2216) is used to specifically activate TLR9 and acts as induction control for comparison purposes, while non-treated cells serve as background control. Human PBMCs are from a single donor in this assay.
