Biological Information
Background Information:
CpG DNA (ODN 2216) is used to specifically activate TLR9 and stimulates secretion of IFNα; inhibition by client compound is reported as pg/mL for the strength of the response. Reference compound dexamethasone is used for comparison purposes. Non-treated cells serve as background control, while CpG DNA (ODN 2216) stimulated PBMCs in the presence of vehicle serve as a positive control. Human PBMCs are from a single donor in this assay.
