Background Information:
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease associated with memory loss, cognitive impairment and dementia. The multifactorial pathological feature of AD leads to unsatisfying single-targeted treatments and an unmet need for its efficacy and safety. A multitargeted strategy has drawn scientist’s attention and a synergistic interaction with AD-relevant events is under investigation.
