Background Information:
Eurofins Panlabs provides an effective in vitro cell-based screening model to assess hepatotoxicity potential of drugs with multiplexed technologies examining human primary hepatocytes (HPH) and measuring morphological and biochemical parameters at the single cell level. This assay provides the access to automated, robust, state-of-the-art technology that maximizes data per assay by measuring critical markers of liver toxicity: cell viability, reactive oxygen species (ROS), mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP). Compound testing is conducted in pre-validated human primary hepatocytes (HPH).
