Testing Information
Procedure Summary:
NCI-H460 cells (1.5x10^4/ml in growth medium), human lung carcinoma (ATCC HTB-177), are placed in 96-well plates in an atmosphere of 5% CO2 at 37°C for overnight. Test compound and/or vehicle is then added for an additional 72 hours. After 72-hours incubation, luminescence is measured using a microplate reader. Growth inhibition (GI50), total growth inhibition (TGI) and lethal concentration of 50% (LC50) represent cell growth are 50% reduction of vehicle-treated control (T72), equal to and loss of cells of 50% relative to beginning cell density (T0) respectively.
Incubation:
3 d at 37°C
