| How can I speed up adding items to the cart for repetitive quote requests? | There are a few convenience features to accelerate quote creation by either replicating previous quotes or making it easier to add frequently used items to the cart.
For Repeat Studies: Clone – If you are working on a project in which you are repeating the same basic study, then cloning will speed quoting for future projects.
For standard quotes/orders, the assays and their configuration will be automatically populated in the cart. Please note, the “Clone” feature will remove any items that were already in the cart. You have the opportunity to change assays and their configuration as necessary before proceeding to the next step of the quote creation process. For custom quotes/orders, the quote number and version will be added to the Request Custom Quote form with the “Clone” option pre-selected. You can use the “Question/Message” text to add any details for the quote request. For frequently quoted items Favorites – If there are assays that you routinely order, add them to your Favorites to quickly add them to your cart in the future. You can add Favorites from either search results page, an assay detail page or from the cart by clicking on the additional actions ellipsis (i.e., three vertical dots) and selecting “Add to Favorites” on the menu. Panels – If there are individual assays that you typically order together, creating a user panel will allow you to add all these assays into the cart with a single click. You can add assays to one or more of your user panels from either search results page, an assay detail page or from the cart by clicking on the additional actions ellipsis (i.e., three vertical dots) and selecting “Add to Panel” on the menu or directly in Panels page by selecting a user panel, then clicking “Add Items to Panel”. Assays for which you know the item number – If you know the item number(s) for the assay(s) that you want to add to cart, you can add these items directly in the cart using the “Add Item” action. The “Add Item” action will open the “Quick Add” dialog box in which one or more standard items can be added to the cart. |
| Is there a way to apply the same assay parameters to a group of assays? | If you have a larger number of assays that you want to apply the same testing parameters to, then you may want to consider moving these assays to an assay group in the cart. To do so, simply:
Note: After creating the Assay Group, you can add new individual items to the group and when they are added they will take on the same assay parameters of the group without further configuration. Similarly, items that are in an Assay Group can be removed from the group and returned to the “Individual Assays” section by clicking on the additional actions ellipsis (i.e., three vertical dots) and selecting “Remove from Group” on the menu. |
