How much compound/sample to send? The amount of sample to send for a standard project can be found in Quotes and/or Orders pages by following these steps. For custom projects – please contact Customer Services.

  1. Log in and select either Quotes or Orders from the User Menu.
  2. Click on the additional actions ellipsis (i.e., three vertical dots) for the quote / order and select “Shipping” on the menu.
  3. On the Shipping dialog box, click the first download icon to download the Compound Requirements file.

  4. Open the downloaded Compound Requirement file and click “Enable Editing” button, which allow for the table to be populated.

    Note: In order for Compound Requirement file to provide information, compounds must have been previously added to the quote and/or order. Addition of compound information is an optional step to create quotes. Thus, if no compound information was added during the quote creation process, then the Compound Requirement file downloaded from the Quotes page will not have any information. However, Orders will always have compound information added as compound information is required as part of the Order Checkout process. Therefore, the Compound Requirements file downloaded from the Orders page should contain information. Custom orders will be an exception.

Where do I ship my compounds/samples and what additional information do I need to provide? For standard assays, you will have already added what compounds/samples you wanted to have tested and the concentrations to be tested during either the Quote Creation or Order Checkout process. In addition to this information, you will need to provide compound/sample specific information (e.g., stock concentration, MW, etc.), so we can properly handling your samples. This information can be submitted via the Compound Submission from. The Compound Submission form also contains shipping information for your project. The following steps can be followed to retrieve and submit the Compound Submission form that is specific for your project.

  1. Log in and select either Quotes or Orders from the User Menu.
  2. Click on the additional actions ellipsis (i.e., three vertical dots) for the quote / order and select “Shipping” on the menu.
  3. On the Shipping dialog box, click the second download icon to download the Compound Submission form.

  4. Open the downloaded Compound Submission form and click “Enable Editing” button, which allows the form to be edited.
  5. Complete the “Compound Information” section on the “Compound Submission Form” sheet and save the file. If you have not previously provided the testing concentrations, you can use the “Testing Concentrations” section to include this information.

    Note: In order for Compound Submission form to pre-populate your compounds/samples in the “Compound Information” section, your compounds must have been previously added to the quote and/or order. Addition of compound information is an optional step to create quotes. Thus, if no compound information was added during the quote creation process, then the Compound Submission form downloaded from the Quotes page will not have any compound information pre-populated. However, Orders will always have compound information added as compound information is required as part of the Order Checkout process. Therefore, the Compound Submission form downloaded from the Orders page should contain information. Custom orders will be an exception.

  6. Repeat Steps 1-3, but this time click the upload icon and select your populated and saved Compound Submission Form from Step 5.

    Note: the Compound Submission Form is study specific – it MUST contain the full QUOTE number in the “Eurofins Discovery Quote” field related to the study. Uploading the same form that was downloaded from Step 3, which will have the proper Quote number, will ensure that file is uploaded successfully (changing the file name is permitted).

  7. Click “Save” on the Shipping dialog box to submit your information.
