Eurofins Discovery Awards its Top Innovators of the Year

September 8, 2026 – Eurofins Discovery proudly celebrates its 2025 innovators, recognizing outstanding team members and teams for their exceptional contributions to scientific advancement and business innovation. This year’s Innovation Award winners, along with all participants in the company’s annual innovation program, exemplify the Eurofins commitment to fostering a culture of creativity, entrepreneurship, and continuous improvement.

Team member Alexander Clifford, Scientist III R&D, has been recognized with the Eurofins Discovery Scientific Innovation Award for his project, Development of a Novel Functional Cell-Based Targeted Protein Degradation Assay Platform for High-Throughput Screening of Heterobifunctional Degraders and Molecular Glues.

Clifford’s project was selected as a winning innovation in recognition of its exceptional impact on scientific capability, operational excellence, and commercial growth within the rapidly expanding field of Targeted Protein Degradation (TPD).

The groundbreaking assay platform strengthens Eurofins Discovery’s position in the TPD market by providing a scalable, high-throughput, and cost-efficient screening solution. The platform enables the evaluation of key degradation parameters, including DC₅₀¹ and D_max², across a broad range of targets for both heterobifunctional degraders and molecular glues. By expanding screening capabilities and improving efficiency, the innovation delivers significant value to customers while advancing Eurofins Discovery’s scientific leadership in this emerging area of drug discovery.

Team members Carol Austin, Senior Director Drug Discovery; Clara Da Ros, Marketing Assistant; Allison Kinnucan, Marketing Manager; and Céline Legros, Partnership Director, have been recognized as recipients of the Eurofins Discovery Business Improvement Award for their collaborative project, Discovery & Beyond: Expert Perspectives.

The team’s initiative was selected as a winning project in recognition of its outstanding contribution to enhancing Eurofins Discovery’s visibility, strengthening its scientific leadership, and increasing customer engagement.
