Eurofins Discovery experts developed our BioMAP® oncology/immuno-oncology systems to model the complexity of the tumor microenvironment (TME). The systems combine PBMCs pooled from healthy human donors with early passage primary human fibroblasts or vascular endothelial cells, together with a human tumor cell line. BioMAP oncology/immuno-oncology systems are stimulated to recapitulate and model tumor-immune-stromal or tumor-immune-vascular microenvironments with disease-relevant interactions and signaling pathways that occur during tumorigenesis and growth.
Discover how BioMAP oncology/immuno-oncology systems can help you gain insights into TME-specific efficacy, mechanism of action, dosing and indication guidance, and safety signatures of test agents in the complex TME environment.
Drug Discovery Applications
- Biological mechanism of action, efficacy, and safety evaluation
- Biomarker discovery
- Benchmarking against standard of care, clinical drug, or reference agents
- Testing of drug combinations for improving efficacy or reducing potential toxicity
BioMAP Oncology/Immuno-Oncology Panel Advantages: A Human-centered Approach
- Use of human PBMCs, primary fibroblasts or vascular endothelial cells, and cancer cell line in co-culture to allow cell cross-talk
- Tumor microenvironment markers relevant to human therapeutic response are studied: immune, vascular or stromal, and tumor
- Additional custom protein biomarker readout options are also available
