Custom Synthesis up to Kilogram Scale

In the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and fine chemical industries, route scouting and process development play a key role in securing the supply of intermediates and final targets. Complementing our extensive FTE-based teams at Eurofins Discovery in synthetic chemistry, our High-Throughput Experimentation lab, as well as our high-potency lab, our new scale-up capabilities allow us to deliver small molecule targets on kilogram scale.
 
Our approach to Discovery Process Chemistry allows partnership at all stages of route development and is suitable for a wide range of non-GMP small molecule building blocks, APIs, reference materials, and targets of general interest from academic or patent literature. Our internal expertise enables the possibility to synthesize novel molecules without prior established routes.
 
In the realm of pharmaceutical research and development, our services span the full range from medicinal chemistry to process chemistry and include scouting and optimization of routes and processes, as well as downstream manufacturing and continuous production. In all cases the solutions we deliver are tailored to the phase of development, so that fit-for-purpose solutions can be quickly identified at early stages, whereas “best process” solutions can be delivered at later stages.
 
In our scale-up lab we have fully integrated a miniaturized production environment with 25L reactors with cryogenic reaction capabilities. Our internal capabilities enable us to deliver faster and on a larger scale than ever before and in close collaboration with other Eurofins Discovery services, providing a full suite of cost-efficient, end-to-end services in drug discovery.
